【邯郸学步】是什么意思

相传战国时期，燕国有个人到赵国的都城邯郸，看到赵国人走路姿势很美，就跟着学。结果不但没有学好，连自己原来的走法也忘掉了，便爬着回去。典出《庄子、秋水》。后用来比喻仿效他人，未能成就，反而失却自己本来的面目。《歧路灯、第一零一回》：「邯郸学步，失其故步。」也作「学步邯郸」。
